Varsity Soccer Terrorizes Palmer

The men’s varsity soccer team earned a 4-0 win over crosstown rival Palmer.  Despite numerous opportunities and dominating possession, the Cougars found themselves tied 0-0 at half.  The 2nd half Coronado freshman Diego Rodriguez scored his first high school varsity goal in the 46th minute with a nice assist by Weston Rubio.  Seven minutes later

The Cougars Varsity Soccer Team lost 0-3 to Liberty despite great effort and play.  Coronado allowed Liberty just a few opportunities which the Lancers made the most.  The Cougars created a few dangerous opportunities as well but just could not find the back of the net.
